School Sweaters
This year we are ordering lightweight jackets for the students to wear during class. They are a fleece sweater with a full zipper. The cost of the jackets is $35 each. This includes the FCS emblem. If you would like your name added, there is a $7 charge. We have an adult medium and a youth medium for the students to try on to determine what size would fit them best. Students may come to the office to try these on. The money must be given to the office when the students place the order. The order must be in by Friday, December 5.

School Weather Cancellations
As winter weather draws near, we would like to remind you that you can find out if there is a delayed opening, early dismissal, or cancellation on WDAC (94.5 FM) or WEEU (830 AM). You can also log on to wfmz.com and click on the school closings link. We will also send out a message around 6:00 am from One Call Now.
One Call Now
If you have trouble getting your message or want to hear it again, call 877.698.3261, and follow the prompts.

Let Our Lives Be Our Thanksgiving

Let our lives be our Thanksgiving
To our Father up above;
Let us worship Him with kindness;
Let us praise Him with our love.

Let us honor Him with virtue;
Let good deeds follow our prayer;
Let our lives be our Thanksgiving
For the bounty that we share.

I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. Psalm 69:30

We Really Do Need One Another
During a hike in the woods, a troop of Boy Scouts came across an abandoned railroad track. Each, in turn, tried walking the rails, but eventually lost his balance and tumbled off.
Suddenly two of the boys, after considerable whispering, bet that they could both walk the entire length of the track without falling off. Challenged to make good their boast, the two boys jumped upon opposite rails, extended their hands to balance each other, and walked the entire section of track with no difficulty whatever.
This, in a nutshell, is an important principle of life. The day of the hermit, the lone wolf, and the self-made man is gone forever. Made in the image of God, we are so constituted that we thrive on partnership, companionship, and fellowship. We do things better, we produce more, and we live happier by helping one another. The person who lends a helping hand discovers that he benefits himself as he helps the other. When we don’t support one another, our lives begin to get off track. We really do need one another.

In Everything Give Thanks
For all that God in mercy sends –
For health and children, home and friends;
For comfort in the time of need,
For every kindly word or deed,
For happy thoughts and holy talk,
For guidance in our daily walk –
In everything give thanks.
