Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

Transportation Requests
Enclosed you will find transportation request forms for those students needing bus transportation next school term. Please fill out these forms and return them to the office by May 24. If you receive a form and don’t need it, please return it to the school office along with a note stating you don’t need transportation.

Uniform Exchange
If you know that your children will grow out of their uniforms by the next school year, please send their uniforms to school. Mrs. Fox will exchange each uniform for a different size. Uniforms should be returned by Friday, May 31. A uniform exchange table will be available on the last day of school at the awards rally.

Final Tuition Statement
In your envelope, you will find your tenth and final tuition bill. This final bill is due May 24. You will notice that the Stanford Achievement Test cost has been added. Also, the PACE charges reflect the final two months so it may be higher than normal. If you receive a white statement along with your current yellow tuition bill, the amount on the white statement is what you owe to close out the year. Having your balance at $0.00 will help us pay our bills this summer.

Teacher Appreciation Week
National Teacher Appreciation Week is May 6-10. Take this opportunity to thank your child’s teacher for all they invest in your child’s life.

Field Day
Feel free to come and watch your children compete at Field Day on May 24. We will be starting around 9:00. You may take your children directly to West Reading Park. We expect to be finished by 12:00. You may take your children home with you then.

Students do not need to wear their uniforms, but clothing must reflect FCS dress standards. There will be no meal served this year.

No School
There will be no school on Thursday, May 30.

Awards Rally
This year-end event will be held on the last day of school, May 31, at 10:00am in the gym. We encourage all students and parents to attend.

Physicals Required
Please remember to make an appointment for a physical for your children entering kindergarten, seventh, and tenth grades this fall. If you have a child entering one of these grades, you should find a physical form in your envelope.  The form must be completed by your doctor and returned to the school office before school starts in August.

Staff Update
Miss Anna will be leaving FCS at the conclusion of this year.  She has served in various positions the last two years, most recently as a monitor in LC4.  We wish her God’s blessing as she serves Him elsewhere.

Mr. Steinruck will be moving to a part-time position at FCS.  He has been teaching here full-time for 25 years.  He recently bought a small farm and plans to spend more time raising crops.  We wish him the best and are happy he plans to work at FCS part-time.

May 27-31
As the calendar indicates, there is a lot of activity this last week.  We are off Monday for Memorial Day. On Tuesday and Wednesday, a few of the classrooms will be camping. Thursday is a day off for the teachers to prepare for Friday’s awards rally. On Friday, we have the awards rally at 10:00. We would like to have as many of you present as possible. There will be no hot lunches or sandwiches available this week.  Please make sure your child has a packed lunch!

Thanks
This has been a wonderful year.  We have been blessed in many ways serving your children.  Have a blessed summer!  You will be receiving your first mailing and billing around August 8.
