Picture Day
Picture day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7. Students are not required to wear their uniforms that day, but clothing must reflect the standards of the school. Students are required to dress up. You will receive email communication after picture day about purchasing photos if you choose to do so. Try your very best to make sure all students are present on picture day.
Trash-a-Thon 2026
We are eagerly looking forward to our 11th annual Trash-a-Thon on Wednesday, October 14. The school will partner with the Reading Public Works Department to clean up trash on the streets of Reading.
DONATIONS: Students can continue to get sponsors throughout the month of October. Money should be turned in by October 31.
FAMILY TOTAL RAISED: Prizes will be awarded to the top three fundraising families based on both the amount raised and the number of donors. Prizes are as follows.
#1 = $300 gift card of your choice
#2 = $200 gift card of your choice
#3 = $100 gift card of your choice
GOAL: Our goal is to raise at least $80,000. If we reach that goal, all students in grades K-6 will win a trip to Sky Zone, and students in grades 7-12 will win a trip to Knoebels Amusement Park in the spring.
VOLUNTEERS: We need parents to volunteer to lead groups on the day of the Trash-a-Thon. Please let the office know if you can help. We will need some pickup trucks to use for hauling trash that day, so please let us know if you can provide one.
TRASH-A-THON T-SHIRTS: Students are not required to wear uniforms for Trash-a-Thon. A new 2026 Trash-a-Thon T-shirt will be provided free to each student and volunteer. You will receive the shirt when you get to school the morning of the Trash-a-Thon. We recommend you wear shoes well suited for walking. If it’s a chilly day, please dress warmly.
